About Me
Hey guys!
Thank you so much for stopping by for a visit. I hope you find something that draws you to make yummy food for those around you. One of the things that brings me so much happiness is sharing food with the people I love. That is part of why Poppy Seed’s Kitchen exists. I have always been creative and love to be in the kitchen. My friends and family would ask me how I came up with my food ideas or how I could possibly plan out what we would eat for the week. This sparked an idea in me to share the knowledge I have gleaned. So this Jesus loving, coffee drinking, lipstick wearing girl got to work!
The name for my blog came after a long time of thinking and many cups of coffee. I didn’t want to use my name because no one spells it right and for all the creativity I usually had nothing was fitting. My sweet husband was encouraging me to keep trying and was being all lovey dovey. That’s when it hit me. One of his random pet names for me is Poppy Seed. We have no clue where it came from. One day he just started calling me that; but for my blog it was perfect.
